Registered Border Leicester and Targhee sheep
Nestled in the hills NE of Ellensburg, Washington at just over 2900 feet, the goal of Starshire Ranch is to humanely produce high quality, dual-purpose sheep. We have chosen Border Leicester and Targhee sheep for their quality of wool, mothering characteristics, and their ability to produce lean, tender lamb. Starshire offers great wool products from the Starshire flock. Lamb's yarn, roving and raw fleece now available-just click on Western Woolies. We are excited to announce our purchase of 4 Huacaya Alpacas. They will be joining Starshire Ranch early this summer. Go to the flock page for pictures.
